Barcelona and Madrid on massive transfer competition for Van Dijk

The Two Spanish Giants Barcelona and Real Madrid ready to make a competitive move for Liverpool defender van Dijk.

Although the English premier league transfer window has closed, the transfer market is still open for other European clubs.



The transfer window is expected to close on Monday, but the two clubs still have the chance to make an offer when the January the transfer window opens if they were not able to get the signature of the Dutch defender.

the two football giants want to rock the world of football by breaking the bank to sign Virgil Van Dijk from Liverpool to Spain.

The La Liga outlet claims that both Barcelona and Real Madrid are interested in the 28-years old  Dutch professional footballer.

Van Dijk joined premier league side Southampton in 2015, After playing for the club for 3 seasons, He signs for Liverpool in January 2018 for a world record transfer fee of £75 million for a defender.

The Dutch defender has been impressive on the pitch since joining Liverpool and last season he helped the club to win the UEFA Champions League which Liverpool has not won for the past 14 years.

the Liverpool defender Virgil Van Dijk won the UEFA men's player award of the year 2018/2019.
