Man Utd "edging very closer to World record £70m-a-year shirt sponsorship deal with Chinese company Haier'... who own Hoover?



United have held extensive talk with Haier on a shirt sponsorship deal worth £70m-a-year.


Manchester United are very close in completing a world record £70million-a-year shirt sponsorship contract with the Chinese company Haier.



Man Utd is looking to replace their current £64million-a-year deal with Chevrolet, which is set to expire in 2021.

As reported by the Sun, Man Utd executives have held a meeting with Haier, whose brands include Hoover.

Haier is very eager to replace Chevrolet at the end of their contract with United, with senior representatives of the company that have been in the United Kingdom since last week.



Manchester United are still determined to show that they are still a major force in a commercial sense  despite their struggle on the pitch in

recent years. The Red haven't won the league title since the departure of their legend coach Sir Alex Ferguson in 2013.
