Manchester United boost their financial status after securing a place in the Champions League next season
Man Utd after securing a victory over Leicester has avoided losing a significant chunk of sponsorship revenue as they manage to finish the top four in the Premier League.
Manchester United on Sunday traveled to the king power Stadium with the aim to win and knowing fully well that a loss on the game would see the foxes overtake them in the hunt for a Champions League place next season but that incident was avoided.
The game was goalless during the first half of the match but Bruno Fernandes changed the scored board with his fantastic penalty shot conceived by Martial,
After which Jesse Lingard capitalized on an error from Leicester goalkeeper Kasper Schmeichel in the last minutes of the game to double the score.
This victory over Leicester has a big impact on the club's finances.

However, the deal with Adidas would have suffered some setbacks had it been that the Reds did not qualify the Champions League next season due to a clause in their agreement.
According to the Clause, if Manchester United failed to qualify for the Champions League in two consecutive seasons, the prise of the sportswear brand would be reduced by 30% (£22.5million) of the initial worth which is £75million.
Last season, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's men finished sixth on the Premier League table and they are currently competing in the Europa League - with their continental campaign continues in August.
Although a win in the Europa League would have provided another route back into the Champions League that would have been a stern task.
The win against Leicester City has reduced the pressure in that respect, although becoming the champion in Europa next month will provide some positive effects in the forthcoming Champions League next season.
If the Reds win Europa League, they will not be paired with some of Europe's biggest clubs in the group stage of the campaign.
The winners of the Europa League have their name placed in plot 1 for the group stage draw, which will result in not been matched with the likes of Bayern Munich, Real Madrid, and Paris Saint-Germain.
